Nanook vs Slater Bug

This speaks for itself.

Jivesucka's Ruminations

Depending on what you’re viewing with, you may need to click on the photo to make out the bug on the far right. But he is there.

I tried distracting Nanook with a toy, but her prey drive is intense & the slater bug held her attention for some time.
Unlike most bug/insect hunts, Nanook felt the need to stare down the tiny slater bug. Perhaps pausing in recognition of a true nemesis.
It felt a little wild west to me.

Another version of this shot would have a tumbleweed blowing by, dusty hats & a cigar hanging from the bug’s mouth. But let’s just keep it simple shall we.
