"The dog is a gentleman; I hope to go to his heaven, not man's." – Mark Twain, Letter to W D Howells, 4/2/1899

I Have Trust Issues.

Just like this little bloke, my dogs don’t like being approached.

I even bought a bright red lead with the word ‘CAUTION’ embroidered on it, but it make little difference. People still insist on patting them.

Never approach a dog, let the dog approach you first. In the world of dogs this is correct etiquette. Dog rules say that you don’t come head on toward a dog unless you mean to challenge it, and this is what the dog sees, so it reacts.

Learn the rules, learn their language and life with dogs is even more enjoyable.

Show them respect.
