Last Saturday was the second annual ‘End of the Line’ Festival in Belgrave. A well named festival as Belgrave is the end of the electric train line from the city of Melbourne and the beginning of the narrow gauge line [Puffing Billy] which goes several kilometres to Gembrook. The electric line owes it’s existence to the old narrow gauge line and it makes our little mountain home unique. From Belgrave it is only 58 minutes by train to the centre of the city. We are a very well kept secret.

The ‘End of the Line Festival’ was amazing and covered the whole town and many of the regular music and poetry venues as well as the local cinema, The Cameo. There were people everywhere and the local shopkeepers must have made a fortune. The weather was amazing and there were quite a few dogs enjoying the day, but I thought that it was a bit hot to have dogs out, at least ours would have suffered but these two were very happy to meet and I was lucky enough to get the shot.
